John Peiserich's practice focuses on Environmental and Oil & Gas law with an emphasis on litigation. He has an active administrative law practice before the Arkansas Oil & Gas Commission and an active permitting and licensing practice before the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality. Mr. Peiserich routinely represents production and service companies before the AOGC and assists those companies in AOGC related compliance matters. His Oil & Gas practice includes title examination; and drafting of Oil & Gas related agreements including operating and participation agreements, farmouts, and agreements relating to development and marketing. His Oil & Gas practice has extended to the formation of related business entities, commercial transactions and contract negotiations.
Prior to commencing the practice of law, Mr. Peiserich worked as an environmental consultant specializing in the assessment and remediation of environmentally impaired commercial and industrial real estate and he continues to draw on that experience today in representing companies before the state regulatory agencies for Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas, as well as Region 4 EPA, Region 6 EPA and the Corps of Engineers. For more than 15 years, Mr. Peiserich has worked on a wide range of environmental issues including asbestos abatement, inspections and management; environmental, health and safety compliance auditing; environmental site and risk assessments; storage tank management and removal; PCB and hazardous waste site characterization, remediation and management; groundwater remediation; wetlands, and numerous kinds of permitting including permitting RCRA Part B facilities. Mr. Peiserich continues to assists clients with environmental due diligence for mergers and acquisitions and property transactions related to his Oil & Gas and general Environmental practice.
Because of his unique experience representing clients before both the AOGC and the ADEQ, Mr. Peiserich regularly assists O&G service companies in permitting disposal facilities. In recent months, he has assisted clients in permitting both land application facilities and saltwater disposal facilities.

fields of environmental law and Energy and Natural Resources.
He is Adjunct Professor, Oil and Gas Law at UALR William H.
Bowen School of Law, Little Rock.
